WHEELERSBURG — On Monday, March 28, Girl Scout Daisy Troop 443 of Wheelersburg visited Ohio State Highway Patrol, Post 73 in Lucasville to deliver cookies for the Girl Scout Cookie program, Gift of Caring. Generous donors purchasing cookies that would rather donate their cookies locally can choose to donate them to the Gift of Caring project. The troop decided to recognize their OSP heroes based on a visit they had from the OSP canine unit at a recent meeting.

The ten girls of the troop sold over 4600 boxes of cookies, with 132 of those being donated to the OSP. The Highway Patrol will use the donation to keep in cruisers to hand out to stranded motorists and those in need while patrolling the roads.

Shown below is Trooper Travis Stump accepting the cookies from Daisy Girl Scout Troop 443.
