Kerry and Derry are set to do battle in the last of this weekend’s four All-Ireland quarter-finals, with a place in the last four up for grabs.

The Kingdom came through the group stages with flying colours, posting three wins from three games against Louth, Monaghan and Meath.

Derry, meanwhile, endured a much rockier path on their way to the last eight, losing out to Galway and Armagh before finally clinching a group win against Westmeath before dispensing of Mayo – on penalties – in their preliminary quarter-final clash. Here are all the details for this weekend’s encounter:

When will the match take place?
The match between Kerry and Derry will get underway on Sunday, June 30.

Where will the match get underway?
Croke Park is the venue for this last eight meeting.

Derry and Kerry renew rivalries in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final this weekend in what is a repeat of last season’s thrilling semi-final clash between the sides.

On that occasion the Kingdom were two points down inside the final 10 minutes of the game before staging a late rally to win by two. They went on to lose out to Dublin in the final, but remain one of the favourites for All-Ireland glory this season.

Derry, in contrast, have endured a turbulent few weeks after losing a hat-trick of Championship games to Donegal, Galway and Armagh earlier this summer.

They returned to winning way with an unconvincing four-point defeat of Westmeath before a penalty shootout win over Mayo in last weekend’s preliminary quarter-final.

After being on the ropes a few weeks ago, Mickey Harte’s side remain in the hunt for the Sam Maguire, although the Oak Leafers face their biggest test to date against an unbeaten Kerry side.
