As for a potential streaming release date, we can look to Pixar’s latest movie to hit Disney+, Elemental, which came to the streaming service 90 days after its theatrical debut. Should Disney follow suit here, Inside Out 2 would hit Disney+ in mid-September.

Pete Docter, Pixar’s CCO, claims that Inside Out 2 will get a 100-day theatrical window, just like Disney’s other successful animation, Elemental. Thus, the earliest Inside Out 2 could appear on VOD is mid-September 2024.
