THEFT—Report from an Ohio River Road business of numerous fake checks being passed. 10:45 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

THEFT—Report of a stolen lawnmower from Brame Road. 10:49 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

ACCIDENT WITH INJURY—Report of a crash on private property on Oak Hill Branch Road that saw a vehicle back into a body of water. The driver’s foot got stuck and the vehicle went off the driveway, over a tree, and into a dry creekbed. 11:51 a.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report from an Ohio River Road business of a male playing a fiddle and begging money, refusing to leave the business. Male agreed to leave. 12:42 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

THREATS OR HARASSMENT—Report from Mohawk Drive of threats made. 12:46 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

FIRE—Report of smoke in the walls of a Furnace Creek Road residence’s kitchen. No visible fire. 1:58 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report from Back Road of a tree down. 2:09 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report from Ohio 139 of a male and female cursing at and being aggressive toward cars. 2:32 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report of a protection order violation on Main Street. 4:57 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report from Brouse Street of threats being made over social media. 8:25 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

INVESTIGATED—Report of $200 in change being stolen from a residence on Jacobs Cemetery Road. 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13.

ROAD BLOCKED—Report of a tree down blocking roadway of Cockrells Run Road. 2:28 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

INVESTIGATED—Report of a male assaulting a female on the roadway of Ohio 139. 3:39 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

FIRE—Report of a hillside brush fire on Rockford Drive. 3:13 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

DRUNK—Report of a drunk male causing a disturbance at a U.S. 52 business. 6:17 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

DOMESTIC COMPLAINT—Report of a female saying she was choked by a male at a South Washington Boulevard residence. Both were transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center. 8:08 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

THREATS OR HARASSMENT—Report of shots fired and one hit after reporting party says they were on Facetime with the person who was threatened then shot by a family member on Liberty Avenue. The suspect fled into the woods and air evacuation was called for the injured individual, who was flown to The Ohio State Medical Center. Officers called for K9 unit. A firearm was found during the search on Shela Boulevard. SWAT was called in and a drone was deployed. Male was taken into custody. 10:40 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

FIRE—Report of a field on fire on McDermott-Rushotwn Road. 11:24 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

ACCIDENT WITH INJURY—Report of a vehicle hitting a bridge on Big Run Road, causing two people in the vehicle to be entrapped when the vehicle went into the creek. Air evacuation was contacted and took both to Cabell-Huntington Hospital. 1:16 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15.

FIGHT—Report of a fight including eight people on Clayton Court. 5:55 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15.

FIRE—Report from a residence on Ohio 104 of a possibly large fire advancing between houses. 8:11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 16.
