THEFT—Report from Great Meadow Road of the theft of a chainsaw from a shed. The items were returned. 11:22 a.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

INVESTIGATED—Report at the Sheriff’s Office of an attempted theft of a vehicle. 11:32 a.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

THEFT—Report from East Waller Street of a theft from a tractor trailer. 1:53 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

THEFT—Report from Euton Road of a stolen lawnmower, grill tops, and miscellaneous items taken from residence. 3:02 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE—Report of a high-speed chase on Ohio 823 and U.S. 52 with speeds of up to 130 mph. Ended with a crash on the Greenup bridge. Ohio State Patrol made one arrest, and a loaded firearm was found under the seat of the vehicle. 4:07 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE—Report from Kenyon Road of a uhaul seen several times in the area of the Greenup hydroelectric plant. 6:27 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

NEIGHBOR COMPLAINT—Report from Owensville Road of a neighbor flying a drone above reporting party’s residence. 6:45 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT—Report from Turkey Foot Road of neighbor’s dog killing cats. 8:47 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.

INVESTIGATED—Report from Tatman-Pond Creek Road of a car with flashing lights. Moved from the roadway. 12:02 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

INVESTIGATED—Report from Ohio 335 of a man on train tracks screaming. Individual had an active warrant. Arrest made. 9 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

INVESTIGATED—Multiple reports from Longview Avenue of a man outside screaming that he was going to “kill people.” He denied making threats. He was advised to stop yelling and making growling sounds. 12:41 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

THREATS OR HARASSMENT—Report from Dever Road of an individual threatening to commit suicide on TikTok. TikTok reported this incident to the FBI. All was OK upon investigation. 2:14 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

ASSIST—Report from Vaph Road of a missing adult male. Scioto County assisted South Shore Fire Department in the search for a missing adult male. Male was located. 3:58 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

JUVENILE COMPLAINT—Report from Elza Lane of juveniles walking on reporting party’s property. Minors were advised not to go back on the property. 4:12 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

FIRE—Report from Russell Avenue of homeowner coming home to a fire. Fire department reported the fire was out. 4:32 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 3.

THEFT—Report from Crawford Street of tools stolen. 2:08 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4.

FIRE—Report from New Globe Road of a garage fire. 6:04 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON—Report from an Ohio River Road business of a male making threats to “shoot up the place.” Male was trespassed from the business. 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4.
