William Carver, 59

William “Dean” Carver, 59, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed from this world, Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Quincy, Ky., April 18, 1953, a son of the late Charles Carver and Virginia Oney Carver.

He was a retired laborer in construction and a member of Local Labor Union #83 of Portsmouth, Ohio, a Vietnam army Veteran, also he loved Blue Grass Music.

Surviving are one daughter, Deanna Williams of Mansfield, Ohio, two sons, James Carver and William Dean Carver, Jr. both of Mansfield, Ohio, three brothers, Jack Carver of Belleville, Ohio Dick “Carol” Carver of Mansfield, Ohio and Randy “Linda” Carver of Crestline, Ohio, three sisters, Patty “Leonard” Parson, Phyllis “Truman” Farris and Joyce Carver all of Quincy, Kentucky, four grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Ray Carver and Jimmy Lee Carver and one sister, Daphine Moore.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Rev. Norman Potter, officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Quincy, Ky..

Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. till the funeral hour on Saturday.

Military graveside services by the James L. Flannery American Legion Post #276 of South Shore, Ky.
