Talmage “Mike” Todd, 69
Talmage “Mike” Todd, Age 69 of Sciotoville, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at the V.A. Hospital in Dayton. He was born June 24, 1943 in Portsmouth to John Grimes and Opal Todd. He graduated from West Portsmouth High School in 1962, where he played baseball and football for the Senators. Mike served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, was a member of the James Dickey Post 23, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching sports on TV.
Mike is survived by his wife Diana; one son Scott (Robin) Todd of Sciotoville; two daughters, Tammy Doyle of Sciotoville and Sherri Todd of Columbus; one brother Bob (Sparkle) Todd of Lucasville; two sisters, Jonda (Jerry) Harper of Zanesville, Debbie Bazzler (Dennis) of West Portsmouth; 16 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael Todd, and his grandparents who raised him, Harry and Grace Todd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Caleb LaFond officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg with military honors provided by the James Dickey American Legion Post 23. Friends may call Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Wolfe - Nelson Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
