Ralph Legg, 68
Ralph Gaylord Legg, 68, of Lucasville, died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1944, in Pike County, Ohio; a son of the late Jesse James Legg and Dessie Locke Legg Lutz. He was a former employee of Gahm’s Supermarket in Lucasville, a retired custodian with over 20 years of service from the Valley Local Schools, and a 1963 Valley High School graduate.
He is survived by two sons Jeff Legg of Wheelersburg and Jeremy (Sandra) Legg of Lucasville; three grandchildren Natasha Rice, Tyler Comer, and Jeremy Reed Monroe; one brother Junior Legg of Piketon; three sisters Helen Horton of Marion, Mary Call of Baltimore, OH, and Violet Williams of Waverly.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Rae Zaler Legg, May 17, 2009; and four brothers George, Frank, Eldon, and Elmer Legg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Sherman “Bud” Mefford officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before the funeral Wednesday at the funeral home.
