A pair of late home runs as a part of a 4-for-4 performance from Gabby Guthrie helped Portsmouth come from behind to post an 8-7 win Tuesday at Ironton.


Guthrie’s first shot was a solo blast in the top of the fifth. The difference maker was a three-run blast in the top of the seventh. Erica Seison earned her second win for the Trojans, who host Chillicothe Wednesday.

Ali Allen’s home run paced host Minford to a 6-3 home nonconference win Tuesday over South Point.

Alley was 1-for-3 with a pair of runs batted in. Kelsey Conkey won her sixth game in seven decisions thanks to a dozen strikeouts.

The Falcons battle Waverly Wednesday.

The Panthers travel Wednesday to Notre Dame.
