Thomas Riddle, 34, of 10690 Ohio 104, Lucasville, faces charges of possession of drugs, possession of drugs - Schedule III, IV, or V substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia after a weekend arrest.
Portsmouth Police ran the license on a vehicle parked on a city street, which turned out to be owned by a woman with a warrant for her arrest out of Pike County. The officer saw two subjects sitting in the vehicle and asked where the owner was. The driver told officers he hadn’t spoken to her in days. Officer Christopher Hedrick said he had arrested the driver, Thomas Riddle several months ago for drug possession.
Hedrick advised Riddle there were warrants for his arrest through the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and the Pike County Sheriff’s Office. He stepped out of the vehicle and was placed in custody. The officer said he saw Riddle try to ditch items he had in his hand.
The items found in his possession included methamphetamine, which field tested positive; four Loritab pills; two Xanax bars, and a silver tube used to smoke meth.
He was transported to the Scioto County Jail.
