Maxine Boggs McGraw, 78

Maxine Boggs McGraw, 78, of Grove City, was promoted to Glory on March 14, 2013, from her residence. She was born April 8, 1934, to the late Dewey and Martha (Osborne) Boggs in Fullerton, Ky. Maxine retired from Columbus Public Schools ABLE Program, helping numerous students obtain their GED.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Grove City and a longtime member of Grove City Church of God. She was a loving person with a special tenderness toward babies. Preceded in death by her twin sister Evadine, brother Homer, infant son Jerry McGraw. Survivors include her daughters Judy (Jay Bowen) McGraw, Janet (Steve) Fleming and Joyce (Steve) Shiplett; grandchildren Ashley (Matthew) McMahon, Leslie, Kyle, Cameron, Christian, Caroline, Andrew, Katherine and Abigail; great-grandchildren Genevieve, Diesel and Xavier; nephews, Jeff (Pam) Boggs, Robert Boggs, her caregiver and friend Renee’ Tiebout; many friends at Grovewood Place.

Friends may visit Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 3 p.m. until time of funeral at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church 3301 Orders Road Grove City, Ohio; Minister Dwight Ward officiating. Committal service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson Cemetery, South Shore, Ky.
