A Pike County man is being held in the Scioto County Jail under $40,000 bond after being arrested by Pike County Authorities. Pike County Sheriff Richard Henderson said Monday that his office responded to a burglary complaint in the 5000 block of Grassy Fork Road.

Henderson said several firearms and other property were taken from a residence and after a brief investigation, deputies arrested Jacob D. Keesee, 24, of 106 Roxie Rd., Latham, Ohio, and charged him with burglary, a felony of the second degree.

Henderson also reports most of the firearms taken from the residence were recovered in Bainbridge, Ohio.

Henderson said the case is still being investigated for the remaining items and he said anyone with information about the case should contact the Pike County Sheriff’s Office at 740-947-2111.
