Elijah Fletcher, 70
Elijah Edward Fletcher, 70, of Sciotoville, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 16, 1943, in Camp Bennett, a son of the late William Albert and Flossie Birdine Hulett Fletcher.
Elijah was a retired Truck Driver for Artim Trucking and the former owner of R.B. Fletcher Junk Yard.
He is survived by his wife, Trula Gay Scalf Fletcher whom he married June 14, 1965, in Lucasville; two sons, Rocky (Donna) Fletcher and William Eugene Fletcher both of Sciotoville; two daughters Trula Gail Fletcher of Sciotoville and Mary Ellen (Jerry Dee) Howard of Franklin Furnace; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Edna Fletcher; a special friends Don Stewart and Ron Agee; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers Temple Lee Walk and William Albert Fletcher II; and three sisters, Mary Perry, Billie Jean Nichols, and Etta Burge.
The family will share memories and stories about Elijah at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 2013, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville. Friends may call from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests no flowers.
