Jordyn Corcoran scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as visiting Waverly picked up its first win of the season with a 41-34 victory over Chillicothe Southeastern.


Hannah Martin also had 11 rebounds. Kelsie Mays added seven points.


The Tigers host West in Monday’s SOC II contest.

Notre Dame 65, Western 56

Both Notre Dame and Western have officially played everyone in the SOC I at least once this season after Saturday’s SOC I encounter.

Jen Arnzen’s 20 points along with 11 from Madi Phillips and Brooke Pierron gave the visiting Titans a 65-56 win. Mallorie Williams’ 17, Brittany Reader’s 13 and Chrissy Woods’ 10 led the Indians.

Notre Dame will go Monday to New Boston. Western hosts East.

South Webster dropped its second contest in as many games as the Jeeps fell 59-54 to Vinton County at the Beasts of the Southeast Tournament in Chesapeake.

Levi Cook had 18 points, Seth Goddard added 16 and Jensen Dyer chipped in with 10 for South Webster. The Jeeps travel Tuesday to West.
