Gerald Weaver, 70

Gerald Lee Weaver, 70, of South Webster, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth

He was born July 23, 1942, in Scioto Furnace, Ohio, a son of the late Ronald Weaver and Alice Mae Slack Weaver. He was a member of the Laborer’s Union and attended Frederick Free Will Baptist Church

He was preceded in death by three brothers, William S. Weaver, Paul Eugene Weaver and Larry Lehman Weaver

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Pratt Weaver; one daughter Cynthia Alice Weaver; two sons, Gerald Len Weaver and Ronald Lee Weaver; two grandchildren, Paul Gamble and Samantha M. Raynard; one sister, Clorene (Glay) Cameron and one brother, Roger E. Weaver; and his loving little companion, his dog Daisy

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home in South Webster followed by a Celebration of Life dinner to be held at the Frederick Free Will Baptist Church Fellowship Hall immediately after the scheduled visitation. There will be no formal funeral services
