Edith Bazler, 86
Edith M. Bazler, 86, of Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, Ohio, formerly of Peebles, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at S.O.M.C. Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was Born Dec., 1, 1925, The Daughter of the late William Harve and Aleta Mae (Jones) Perry.
In addition to her Parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fred, one brother, one sister, one grandson and one granddaughter. She is survived by two sons, Paul (Ginger) Bazler of Lucasville, Ohio, Tim (Gail) Bazler of Peebles, Ohio, one sister, Geneva Taylor of Springfield, Ohio, one brother, Tom Perry of Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, Ohio, one grandson, two step-granddaughters, three great grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Edith was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly, Ohio with Minister, Scott Literal officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, and noon until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be to S.O.M.C.
