Clines Mullins, 80

Clines “Marty” Mullins, 80, of Franklin Furnace, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at SOMC Hospice after a brief battle with lung cancer.

He was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Bevinsville, Ky., a son of the late Dave Mullins and Nancy Hall Mullins. He was a retired Steel Worker from Meehan Steel in Ironton and a member of Franklin Furnace Independent Baptist Church. He dedicated his life to his Lord, church, family and music. He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Little Mullins; two daughters, Rhonda L. Hudnall (William), of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; and Cheryl E. Porter of Franklin Furnace; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Franklin Furnace Independent Baptist Church with Dennis Hankins officiating, with interment at Junior Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call at the church beginning at noon. Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice or Franklin Furnace Christian Academy.
