Sue Case, 81
Sue Ann Case, 81 of Seventh St. Waverly, passed from this life to Eternal Rest on Oct.17, 2012, at the Pike Adena Medical Center, Waverly, Ohio. Sue was born on May 26, 1931, in Murphysville, Ky., the oldest of eight children to the late Richard E. and Geneva (Boog) Osborne Huber. Her formative years were spent enjoying rural farm life, learning principles of hard work and it’s reward, joys of daily life, importance of family and the Catholic faith. Sue graduated from Maysville St. Patrick’s High School and Cincinnati school of business. She began her career with Browning Manufacturing in Maysville, Ky. and retired from the Martin Marietta Energy Systems/USEC.
Sue was united in marriage to Ferdinand A. Case on Sept. 18, 1954, who preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1999. They reared six children; Kristi Case of Waverly, Ohio, Kevin Case and wife Ruth of Mayslick, Ky., Karla Case of South Bloomfield, Ohio, Kelly Case and David Reece of Hilliard, Ohio, Kim Parks of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Kendall Case and wife Lori of Waverly, and one grandchild, Khloe Case.
Brothers and sisters: Joan Muehlbauer and husband Paul , Gay Kleier, Judy Vance and husband Robert, Richard (Dick) Huber and wife Donna all of Maysville, Ky., Charles (Chick) Huber and wife Judy of Owingsville, Ky., Declan Huber and wife Molly of Sarasota, Fla., Rodney (Rick) Huber of Washington, Ky.
Sue was a member of the Sigma Phi Gamma Sorority, St. Mary’s Queen of Missions Alter Society, and a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the St. Mary’s Queen of Missions Church with Father William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly. A Prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
