Three Cincinnati men are facing a total of 15 charges from indictments handed down by the Scioto County grand jury on Sept. 28.


Antonio L. Spikes, 23, of 1042 Seton Ave. Cincinnati, Antwon L. Criswell, 31, of 4914 Wesley Ave. Cincinnati, and Desmond A. Jenkins, 24, of 3097 Westwood Moreland Blvd. Cincinnati, were each charged with trafficking in drugs - heroin; possession of drugs - heroin; trafficking in drugs - cocaine; possession of drugs - cocaine, felonies of the first degree, and tampering with evidence.


Combined efforts by the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, the Portsmouth Police Department and other members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force conducted a “high risk” traffic stop of a vehicle on U.S. 52 East in West Portsmouth at around 8 p.m. on Sept. 25. Upon a search of the vehicle, detectives seized approximately 160 grams of suspected heroin and approximately 75 grams of suspected crack cocaine, which detectives believe were heading for Portsmouth and Scioto County.
