Kentucky Warriors defeat Clermont Grizzlies 33-12

The Kentucky Warriors improved their record to 5-0 Saturday evening with a 33-12 win over the Clermont Grizzlies at Goshen.
Kentucky’s Nate Fannin started the scoring with a 76-yard punt return but the extra point was blocked making it 6-0 Warriors.
Clermont responded with a 62-yard touchdown reception and a failed 2-point conversion to tie the game at six.
Then Kentucky’s John Estes scored on a 14-yard run making it 12-6. The 2-point converstion attempt failed.
The Warriors struck again when David Mallory scored on a 66-yard scamper expanding the lead to 19-6 after a successful extra point.
Jermaine Payton then contibuted a 70-yard punt return for the Warriors stretching their lead to 26-6 after the successful point-after attempt.
Kentucky’s scoring was capped by Andrew Osburn’s 50-yard touchdown run that made it 33-6.
The Grizzlies made the score 33-12 after a 35-yard punt return.
The Warriors threw for only 22 yards on six completions but rushed for 289 total yards. Osburn led the way with 110 yards on the ground while Mallory rushed for 108.
Defensively, Kentucky was led by Chris Cooper who had a pair of interceptions. Terry Waugh and Justin Lunsford each had an interception.
Steve Lee had three sacks for Kentucky while Robby Logan had two and Tyrone Allen had one.
The Warriors visit the Ohio Ducks this Saturday.
