Teens from Time Out For Me toured Shawnee State University recently to learn about the opportunities of going to college.
The teens under Time Out for Me Inc. participated recently in a university tour at Shawnee State University. The teens participated in presentations informing them of the application process, scholarships, financial aide, housing, challenges of college life, the educational opportunities and many benefits of attending Shawnee State University and earning a college degree.
The event was supported by Shawnee State University and members of the Time Out For Me community male leaders group.
Time Out for Me also recently received a hotel/motel grant from the City of Portsmouth supporting the teen educational program.
