Marjorie Lucinda Parsons Frazier passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Frazier; her father and mother, Ellis and Johnny Alice Parsons; and her brothers, Kenneth Parsons and Gerald Parsons. She is survived by her sisters, Pauline Borders and Debbie Castle; her daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Neal Purtee; and son and daughter-in-law Forrest and Carolyn Frazier; her grandchildren, Neal Corey Purtee; and granddaughter-in-law Theresa Purtee, Annie Frazier, Hayley Frazier, and Jay Frazier; and her great-grandchildren, Patrick Purtee and Delaney Purtee.
Marge was born on March 9, 1926, and was married to her adoring husband Bill Frazier for 37 years. She was a very popular and revered teacher in the Sciotoville School District. Marge opened up her arms to everyone around her. When anyone spoke to her, she would drop everything she was doing and totally focus on the person who was speaking to her. That was such a gift for all she knew.
Marge will be buried on Friday at 1o a.m. in a private family service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace next to her husband.
