Kayla Wiley led the Lady Tigers with 19 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and four assists and Missy Buckley contributed five points, five rebounds and four steals. Tasha Buckley scored 11 points in the win.
“We came out and started kind of slow,” New Boston coach Jon Estep said. “After the first quarter we started taking control of the game. We started making shots and started getting up and down the floor.”
New Boston travels to East tonight in its last game before renewing last season's rivalry with Clay, the team the Lady Tigers dethroned to win the SOC I title last season.
