She was born June 24, 1929, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Sherman and Elizabeth Craft Abdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elva Hackworth.
Surviving are sons Ralph Hackworth, Junior Hackworth and Hank Hackworth; daughters, Margie Brown and Pauline Hall; brothers, John Abdon and Charles Abdon; sister, Marjorie "Margie" Potter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup, Ky., with Ronnie Tussey officiating and interment in Helton Cemetery.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
