Lewis County (Ky.) Sheriff's deputies on Tuesday arrested two people in connection with a Camp Dix burglary following a 2 1/2 year investigation, according to a sheriff's report.

Deputies arrested Timothy Small, 28, no address, and Heather Tomblin, 25, no address, for the burglary of the house owned by Justin Logan.

Both were charged with first-degree burglary and bail was set at $25,000.

The sheriff department did not provide Logan's address.

The burglaries occurred in August 2004.

Logan's residence was broken into and 41 guns, money and other items were stolen.

Small and Tomblin were arrested at Barbara Small's house on Brushy Creek in Carter County. She is the mother of Timothy Small.

Sheriff William Lewis did not say what led to the arrests of the pair after such a long time.

Deputies from the Carter County Sheriff Department also were involved in the arrest.

The sheriff's department, in conjunction with the Commonwealth Attorney office, have pursued various leads and developed evidence since the investigation started in 2004.

According to the department, other arrests are pending in the ongoing investigation.
