Nora was born June 26, 1941 to Lewis and Lellie Lowe of Jellico, TN. She had two brothers and eight sisters. She was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lewis Pelfrey; two granddaughters, and one grandson.
She was united in marriage to Jesse D. Pelfrey on December 16, 1969 who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Darrel (Tina) Pelfrey, Dewey (Susan) Pelfrey, Donnie (Barbara) Pelfrey; two daughters, Doreen (Ervin) Metoxen, Debbie (Todd) McCafferty; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Nora was a member of the Givens Free Will Baptist Church on Beaver Pike.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Owl Creek Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Ross officiating. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday.
