The Titans were led to victory after a big fifth inning, in which Notre Dame scored eight runs, to end the game with a 10-0 win over the Panthers.

Tyler Speas led the charge for the Titans at the plate, hitting a perfect 3-3 on the night. He led the team in hits, along with RBIs, as he knocked in three runs. Speas was walked once, and scored one run in the win over Clay.

Baker had a solid outing on the mound for the Titans. He pitched all five innings of the shortened game, giving up only three hits and walking five batters. He also struck out five Panthers, while picking up the win.

The Titans showed great patience while batting. They were walked a total of 10 times during Monday’s game, with Corns, Cassidy, as well as Chase and Cameron Rodriguez each getting walked twice.

Clay and Notre Dame will meet each other again Wednesday evening at Clay High School. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m.
