Trojans fall to Pointers, 60-41

After only giving up 36 points in a loss to Ironton St. Joseph the night before, the Lady Trojans allowed almost twice as many points to the Pointers as Portsmouth fell 60-41 Thursday to South Point, giving the Trojans consecutive losses in as many days.

Portsmouth (2-4, 1-2) was paced by Semajah Parker who scored 13 points. Jasmine Eley scored nine points. On the positive side, four different Trojans hit a shot from downtown.

Madison Kearns led South Point with 15 points. Kearns also hit three 3-point field goals.

The Trojans will return home Monday to face Chesapeake. Tipoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.
