The Valley Indians used four first half goals to beat the Clay Panthers 4-3 Thursday.

Zack Gahm scored a natural hat trick for Valley, notching the second, third and fourth goals of the game.

“Valley came out and played well in the first half, Zack (Gahm) was the difference in tonights game,” Panthers head coach Mark Trapp said. “Our kids tried to come back in the second half and had a great opportunity late in the second half when Devon Holcomb crossed the ball in the box and Tyler Knittels header just sailed over the crossbar. We never quit and I am proud of our kids for that.”

Tyler Knittel, Ethan Newton and Aaron Keyser tallied the three Clay goals on the night.
