The Minford Falcons began their 2015 campaign with a bang by traveling to South Point and leaving with a 49-19 victory.

Minford (1-0) was led by Cody Kennedy who rushed 11 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Two-way standout Michael Stiltner, playing his first game for the Falcons after transferring from East, also scored twice — a nine-yard touchdown run and a 55-yard fumble recovery, both of which occurred in the second quarter.

Quarterback Noah Gray threw two touchdown passes on five completions.

The Falcons will play their second road game in as many weeks when they travel to Oak Hill to face the 0-1 Oaks.
