By Frank Lewisflewis@civitasmedia.comThe Portsmouth Police Department has released a photo taken from a surveillance camera of a man they say may have stolen a car as it was parked in front of a business around noon on Wednesday.Portsmouth Police Operations Captain Lynn Brewer said Sheryl Fannin, of Minford, told police she parked her vehicle in front of a local business located in the 900 block of 11th Street to drop some items off. Fannin said when she returned, her car had been stolen. The vehicle is described as a Maroon 2006 Cadillac SRX.In addition to the car, there were personal items in the vehicle, including her purse and a Glock handgun.
