Kathleen Marie Fegly Lucas, 54, of Portsmouth, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 8, 1955, in Toledo, to the late Walter Eugene and Helen Marie Long Fegly. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ann Kishmoto; and a grandson, Jayden David Lamar.
Kathleen is survived by two daughters, Jodi Lynn Fegly and Nikki Anna Frye, both of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Hailie Danielle Frye, Bryson Nicholas Frye, Josiah Whisman, Hannah and Maisie Swords; three brothers, Wayne (Thelma) Fegly of Palm Bay, Fla., Alfred (Sandy) Fegly of Toledo and Paul (Peggy) Fegly of West Portsmouth; two sisters, Sharon (Wes) Morris of Columbus and Sandra (Harold) Holsinger of Stout; along with a special friend, Shelia Clay of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Keith Monroe officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 6 p.m.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to help with expenses.

A second Scioto County Prescription Drug Abuse Town Hall meeting was held Monday at Wheelersburg High School to discuss possible solutions to the ongoing issue of prescription drug abuse in the area. Dr. Bob Mullins, Emergency Room physician, was one of keynote speaker sfor the event.
The Adult Services Program of the Scioto County Board of Developmental Disabilities will hold an Art Fair from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the SOMC Friends Center in Portsmouth. Paula R., right, and Karen Piatt, left, work on a project.
The annual Miss Portsmouth, Miss Scioto Valley pageant was held on Saturday at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts. At the pageant Emily Werling, left, of Chesapeake, was crowned Miss Scioto Valley Outstanding Teen, Anna Reisk, center, of Cincinnati was named Miss Portsmouth and Cecili Weber of Wheelersburg was named Miss Portsmouth Outstanding Teen.
