The Community Action Organization of Scioto County (CAO) announced on Thursday they will begin their annual Summer Food Service Program for Children on Monday at 21 public sites in Scioto County and nine in Lawrence County.

Free breakfasts and lunches will be available to all children 18 years of age and under, or persons over 18 who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled.

In Scioto County, breakfast will be served June 11-Aug. 3 at the 14th Street Center in Portsmouth, at 9 a.m.; at Glenwood High School in New Boston, at 7:30 a.m.; Highland Head Start in Portsmouth, at 8:30 a.m.; Oak Street School in New Boston, at 7:45 a.m.; Portsmouth Elementary School in Portsmouth, at 8:30 a.m.; Scioto County Homeless Shelter, at 8 a.m.; Sciotoville Elementary Academy in Sciotoville, at 8 a.m.; Northwest Elementary School in McDermott, at 8:15 a.m.; June 11-July 20 at Scudder School in Portsmouth, at 7:45 a.m.; and July 2-20 at Vernon Elementary School in South Webster, at 8:15 a.m.

Lunches will be served June 11-Aug. 3 at the 14th Street Center in Portsmouth, at 9 a.m.; at Glenwood High School in New Boston, at 11:45 a.m.; Highland Head Start in Portsmouth, at 11:30 a.m.; Oak Street School in New Boston, at noon.; Portsmouth Elementary School in Portsmouth, at 11:30 a.m.; Scioto County Homeless Shelter, at noon.; Sciotoville Elementary Academy in Sciotoville, at 11:30 a.m.; Center Street United Methodist Church in Lucasville, at 11:30 a.m.; Lett Terrace in West Portsmouth, at 1 p.m.; McKinley Pool in Portsmouth, at 1:30 p.m.; Miller Manor in Wheelersburg, at 1 p.m.; New Boston Manor in New Boston, at 11:15 a.m.; Northwest Public Library in McDermott, at 11:30 a.m.; Outreach in Portsmouth, at noon; Potters House Ministries in Sciotoville, at noon; Rarden Community Park in Rarden, at noon; Wayne Hills Head Start in Portsmouth, at 1 p.m.; June 11-July 20 at Scudder School in Portsmouth, at 11:45 a.m.; June 11-July 13 at Green High School in Franklin Furnace, 11:30 a.m.; and July 2-20 at Vernon Elementary School in South Webster, at 11:15 a.m.
