The non-profit Animal Welfare League of Scioto County will sponsor Pet Vaccination Clinics on the first Saturday of May and June.
Vaccinations will be available Saturday, May 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Sierra’s Haven, 80 Easter Drive in Portsmouth; Washington Township Fire Station, 1341 Fourth St., West Portsmouth; and Porter Township Fire Station, 676 Center St., Wheelersburg.
Another clinic will be offered Saturday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Nile Township Fire Station, 12215 U.S. 52 in Friendship; Valley Township Fire Station, 219 Beechwood Ave., Lucasville; and Minford Fire Station on Ohio 335 in Minford.
Vaccinations cost between $5 and $16 each, and heartworm testing will also be offered at all locations.
Cats must be transported in carriers, and dogs must be on leashes. The clinic is open to everyone, regardless of their income. For more information, call 740-858-2446.
