GREENUP, Ky. — Kentucky State Police in Ashland charged Aaron Gallion on Wednesday with complicity to commit murder, relating to the death of Christopher Frazier — whose body was discovered earlier this month.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 14, they had received a missing person report for Christopher M. Frazier, age 29, of Westwood, Ky. on April 8. Eleven days later, police received information which led to the recovery of a deceased male. The remains were located near the roadway, but over an embankment on Happy Ridge in Greenup County. The body was positively identified as Frazier.
Post 14 detectives received information that the murder had occurred on, or about, March 25, 2013, at 807 Rockgate Road in Greenup, Ky. Arrest warrants were obtained on Carlton Gallman, 36, of Ashland, Ky., for murder and tampering with physical evidence. An additional arrest warrant was also obtained on Aaron Gallion, 35, of Ashland, for tampering with physical evidence.
On April 19, Gallman was located in Westwood, Ky., and Gallion was located at a residence on Oxcart Road in Boyd County.
Gallion was arrested and taken to the Greenup County Detention Center. Gallman reportedly saw the troopers coming and fled the scene, crossing into Ohio where he was arrested after being involved in a single vehicle collision. He was arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
Gallman waved extradition on Tuesday and was transported from the Lawrence County Jail to the Greenup County Detention Center.
Information was obtained during the investigation which led to the additional charge being issued against Gallion on Wednesday.
