Mildred Lyons, 76

Mildred M. Lyons, 76, of South Shore, Ky. passed away Feb. 18, 2013, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born Jan. 3, 1937, to the late Sam Bays and Martha Poplin Bays.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glen R Lyons, Aug. 21, 1987, one brother Andrew Bays and one sister Gladys Reed.

Surviving are three sons, Glen Lyons JR, Matthew Lyons both of South Shore, Ky., Joseph Lyons of Lucasville, Ohio, two daughters, Debra Roe of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Rebecca Gilbert of Sciotoville, Ohio, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Funeral services 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky. with Rev. Larry Brisker, officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery, South Shore, Ky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, and from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
