Marchetta “Marty” Warner, 79, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at SOMC Hospice. She was born Sept. 28, 1930, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Grover and Pearl “Clevenger” Looney.

She is survived by a brother, John “Bob” Looney; a sister, Virginia Marsh; three grandsons, Nicholas Hill, Ryan and Coley Warner; a granddaughter, Shannon Hill; and several step-sisters, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a nephew, Marshall Scott McIlwain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Triggs, and her second husband, Alva Allen Warner; a daughter, Sheree Williams; a sister, Arlene Looney; and a brother, Rudolph Looney.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth, with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, and one hour before the service on Saturday at Daehler’s.
