South Webster head coach Christy Johnson said, “They (Minford) are 12 or 13 deep and they are all threats. We couldn't hit,” Johnson continued, “and they were hot.” Johnson mentioned that her team was till in a learning process. “I need to get all of them to play 32 minutes. I saw things we need to work on.”

Minford head coach Kim Conley said, “The kids have been working hard on defense.” Defensive transition is a an improved area for her team, according to Conley. “Coming to south Webster always makes nervous.
