Born Dec. 23, 1959, at Portsmouth, he was a bartender, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his father, Raymond Ferguson of Portsmouth; his mother, Nora Bernadine Ferguson of Piketon; his stepmother, Darlene Ferguson of Portsmouth; his wife, Tammy Anrounis Ferguson; one son, Louis Ferguson; one brother, Joseph Ray Ferguson of Portsmouth; two sisters, Janice Marie Butler of Jasper, and Nancy Lynn Houston of Huntington, W.Va.; two stepsisters, Paula Ward of Portsmouth, and Brenda Hossman of Flowery Branch, Ga.; and two dear friends, Lee Baker and Gary Frederick.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, with military graveside rites by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion. Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
