Dale “Buck” Beckett, 56
Dale “Buck” Beckett, 56, of Portsmouth, died Jan. 6, 2013 at his residence.
He was born July 1, 1956, in Portsmouth; a son of the late Marilyn Beckett Marcum Fields. He was a former employee of Portsmouth Feed and Supply as well as Wright’s Farm Center and a 1977 Northwest High School graduate.
He is survived by four aunts, Virginia (Keith) Ballengee of McDermott, Carolyn Ramey of New Mexico, Helen Mummert of Oklahoma, and Wanda Sowards of Portsmouth; many cousins; and many friends.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Eugene Marcum.
Graveside services will be conducted at noon, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 in Rushtown Cemetery with George Vastine officiating. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville.
