PDT Sports Report

Antonio Bumpus’ team-high 16-point, 11-rebound performance lifted No. 25 University of the Cumberlands to a 67-63 win over host Shawnee State in Thursday’s home opener for the Bears.

Tyler Morgan paced SSU with a game-high 20 points while Ian Nixson chipped in with 17 in the loss.

The Bears (2-3) play their second-straight home game Saturday when the welcome Cumblerlands University into town.
