Author Mike Brumfield will be signing copies of his book “Infinite Astronauts: The Theory of Everything,” all day Saturday at his billboard across from Valley Materials on U.S. 23 in Pike County. The book was published by Collegiate Publishing in August.
Portsmouth hydrant testing
The Portsmouth Fire Department will conduct fire hydrant testing beginning Monday, Sept. 26, through Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. throughout Sciotoville and in Portsmouth 16th Street and south.
