The West Senators improved their record to 5-0 on the season with a 12-1 victory over the Northwest Mohawks. The game went five innings.


Wesley Book led the charge for the Senators as he went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Trevor Welch and Luke Morgan went 2-for-3 with a double a piece for West.


Brady Knittle picked up his second win of the campaign.


West returns to the diamond Saturday as Greenfield McClain visits the Portsmouth area.

Notre Dame 17, Western 5

The Notre Dame Titans played a five-inning affair as they beat Western 17-5 Friday.

Jack Kayser led the way for the Titans as he went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Will Haney also went 3-for-4 as he hit a double and three RBI for Notre Dame. Brice Hannah was the winning pitcher but he also did damage at the plate as he went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI.

The Titans travel to South Webster Saturday to compete in a double header.

Oak Hill 4, South Webster 3

South Webster fell to Oak Hill 4-3 Friday as the Oaks scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning.

The Jeeps were led by Shane Zimmerman who went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI. Garrett Rawlins also hit an RBI for South Webster.

The Jeeps will entertain Notre Dame in a double header Saturday.

Notre Dame only needed five innings to defeat Western as the Titans won 14-1 Friday.

Elayen Born and Madi Phillips combined to record six RBI. Brooke Pierron also had a strong performance at the plate as she scored four RBI of her own.

Torri Harr picked up the victory, her fifth win of the season.

Notre Dame travels Saturday to West.
