In a Division IV Sectional Final match, the South Webster Jeeps upset N0. 1 Racine Southern 65-54 to advance to the District Semifinals.

The eighth-seeded Jeeps (11-12) have won their seventh game in a row with Tuesday night’s victory. Levi Cook led South Webster’s effort with 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Cook also made 13 free throws as the Jeeps converted 22 times from the charity stripe as a team.

Freshman Shane Zimmerman scored 14 points while also leading South Webster with five assists.

Alex Blevins, the Jeeps’ other freshman phenom, scored 12 points but collected 16 boards against the Tornadoes.

South Webster will put its winning streak on the line as the Jeeps will face the Paint Valley Bearcats in the District Semifinals. Paint Valley beat Clay 58-48 in the Sectional Finals Tuesday evening.
