South Webster continued its impressive season Monday night with a 63-39 road nonconference win over SOC I member Eastern.


Kacie Hall led the Jeeps with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the victors had 10 in the scoring column. Cheyenne Weakley and Taylor Shonkwiler each had nine points for South Webster. Carson Roney led all scorers with 19 points in the defeat.


The Jeeps will look to keep pace in the SOC II Thursday when Valley pays a visit. South Webster finds itself two games behind division-leading Oak Hill in the race for the conference title. The Eagles welcome Green Thursday night for one of their final home games of the season.

Despite a double-digit scoring effort from Kaylynn Blizzard, host Green fell 59-36 Monday night to West Union in a nonconference tilt.

Blizzard had 18 points to tie for the lead among all scorers in the contest. Madison Applegate added seven The Bobcats will look to bounce back Thursday with a visit to Eastern.
