The Portsmouth Trojans swept Unioto in a best-of-five tennis match Monday. The Trojans lost two games during the entire match.

Ali Miller kicked off the match with a straight-set victory. Miller did not lose a game during her contest.

Portsmouth won all three singles matches, while only drop the two aforementioned games.

In doubles play, the Trojans didn’t lose a game on their way to victory.

Portsmouth welcomes Ironton to town Tuesday.

The Clay Panthers played in a three-team match at the Ironton Country Club Monday. Clay finished the contest one-stroke off the lead.

Ironton one the match after shooting a 180 as a group. The Panthers finished with a 181 on the day. Rock Hill finished third after shooting a 242 for the event.

The medalist was Jalen Thornhill, 37, for the Fighting Tigers. Isaach Hines shot a 44 to lead Clay while Connor Phipps shot a 45 on the day.
