Valley soccer improved its record to 3-2 with a victory over Chesapeake, 5-2, Saturday.

Senior leader Tyler Montavon led the way for the Indians with two goals and three assists. Montavon scored his fifth goal of the season in the second minute of the game. With the Indians leading 3-2 in the second half, Montavon tallied his sixth goal of the season in the 70th minute.

Zack Gahm scored the first goal of his high school career on his 15th birthday. With the game tied at one apiece, Gahm took a pass from Montavon and put it in the back of the net.

Alex Gahm recorded eight saves in the winning effort.

Valley returns home Tuesday as they welcome New Boston to town.
