ASHLAND, Ky. — The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that Larry B. Stevens, 31, of Worthington, Ky., has been charged with multiple crimes after authorities conducted an investigation into unlawful communication between he and a female juvenile.

According to reports from KSP Post 14, on June 24, 2014, KSP received a report alleging Larry Stevens had engaged in illegal communication with a 17-year-old female juvenile. Following an ensuing investigation, it was determined by KSP that illegal communication, including conversation and photographs, were exchanged between Stevens and the juvenile.

Stevens, has been charged with prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor/sex offense, use of minor under 18 in a sexual performance (two counts), and possession of matter portraying sex performance by a minor (five counts).

According to KSP, an ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detective Christopher Carter.
