Burglary suspect attempts to flee, arrested by KSP

ASHLAND, Ky. — The Ashland Police Department have arrested 29-year-old Marcle Jenkins of Ashland, Ky.

According to the Ashland Police Department, officers responded to a burglary in progress call on Valley Drive and observed Jenkins fleeing out of the back door. Officers surrounded the area and were able to track Jenkins through the snow, and used information from citizens to make the arrest about a half-mile from the scene.

Jenkins was transported to the Boyd County Detention Center and charged with burglary, fleeing, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
