Two arrested for robberies

The Scioto County Sheriff’s Office has made two arrests in a series of robberies over the last several days. Captain David Hall said one of the women was arrested shortly after noon Tuesday, while the other was taken into custody a couple of hours later.
The first incident was at the B.P. station in Minford, last Thursday; the second was at Sun Spot Tanning Salon in Wheelersburg.
Arrested Leanna Ramey, 31, of Ohio 140, Wheelersburg, charged with aggravated robbery, a felony of the first degree; Kidnapping, also a first degree felony, both charges stemming from a knifepoint robbery at the Sun Spot Tanning Salon in Wheelersburg on Saturday. She is also charged with robbery, a second degree felony, from a robbery at Kenny’s Convenient Mart on Ohio 139 Tuesday morning. In addition, she faces safe cracking charges, a felony four, stemming from an incident at the B.P. station in Minford on Jan. 16.
Also arrested was Danielle Starcher, 28, of Petersburg Road in Jackson County, who faces a charge of aggravated robbery, kidnapping from the robberies at the Sun Spot and the B.P. station.
Starcher was not arrested in the Kenny’s Convenient Mart robbery.
